Working with Penny W. Stamps School of Arts and Sciences, we were given a large format file of an incredible oil, acrylic, rock salt, copper sulfate crystals, iron oxide, caulking, epoxy resin on canvas (56″ x 64″) by Jon Verney, MFA ’16, called ‘Autofagia.’ By mindfully cropping this extraordinary piece of art to square, adding the artist’s signature, school logo, and narrow plain border, we created this incredibly unique silk scarf.
