Benjamin C. Cessford
Ben is CIO at Volvo Bil i Göteborg AB. He has extensive background in IT and aged 36, retired after selling his healthcare IT business. His company was amongst the first to design and build a universal hospital integration portal software application that linked departments and proved immediately effective in the healthcare sector. When not consulting for Harris Made, Ben enjoys relaxing on his boat. Ben graduated with a B.Sc.(HONS) in Physical Sciences from Oxford Brookes University and a M.Sc. D.I.C. in Industrial Robotics and Manufacturing Automation from Imperial College, London.
Neil A. Cummins
Neil is Chairman of Oak Ridge Investments, LLC, an investment advisory firm based in Chicago, IL. Neil has an extensive background in the global finance industry, principally London based, including 15 years as a Managing Director & Founding Management Committee member of Barclays Capital and 12 years as a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley. Neil also serves on the Board of Directors of Five Oaks Investment Corp.(NYSE: OAKS). Neil graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University, Bloomington.
Sir John Harris KCB, CB, CBE
Sir John, known by his friends as ‘Win’, spent his career in the Royal Air Force, retiring in 1996 in the rank of Air Marshal (Three-Star). His last post was as the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) No 18 Group, when he also held the NATO post of Commander Maritime Air Eastern Atlantic. Sir John was awarded the Order of the British Empire in the rank of Commander (CBE) by Her Majesty the Queen in 1982, and was made a Commander of the Order of the Bath (CB) in 1991 in the Gulf War Honours List; he was promoted to Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath (KCB) in 1992. Sir John previously served as Aide-de-Camp to Her Majesty the Queen and was an exchange officer with the US Navy Test & Evaluation Squadron flying P-3 Orion from Key West, Florida. He maintains strong links with the Royal Air Force. Sir John now lives in Scotland and enjoys fly-fishing for salmon. Sir John was educated in Great Britain attending the Royal Air Force College.
Robert W. Karr Jr.
Bob is General Manager of Global Operations and General Counsel of Blommer Chocolate Company, a family owned global cocoa processor and ingredient chocolate supplier. He also serves as President of Project 120 Chicago, a not-for-profit organization that is revitalizing Chicago’s South Parks in partnership with the Chicago Park District. Bob earned a B.A. in Asian Languages and Literature and International Business Certificate from the University of Iowa, and J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
Matthew J. Shattock
Matt is Chairman & CEO of Beam Suntory Inc, the world’s third largest premium spirits company. Matt is a veteran leader in the global consumer packaged goods industry with both U.S. and global business experience. Prior to joining Beam, he spent six years at Cadbury plc, where he led their businesses first in The Americas and then in the Europe Middle East & Africa region. Matt serves on the Board of Directors of both Suntory Holdings and VF Corporation. Matt earned a bachelor of arts degree with honors from Durham University and also served as a tank troop commander in the British Army.
